Knitted Escher!

MOAR MITTENS! “Galileo” mittens by Cosmic Pluto Knits. I love the sort-of-abstract-but-based-on-astronomical-charts design. And the restrained color scheme.

Continuing the mitten series: Kissing Koi mittens (pattern by Lisa Perusse). Dig that asymmetric allover pattern!

And then, by contrast, there are the Mittens with Pints On, created by Spillyjane. Mittens ornamented with, yes, little pint glasses of various shades of beer.
(I have a couple of friends with whom I consumed innumerable pints at our local pub during our grad school years. I might make them each a pair of these.)

I am in love with stranded mittens lately. I’m going to post a few favorite patterns, which I may or may not someday get around to making myself someday when I’m better at stranded colorwork. For starters: Tuulia Salmela’s Deep in the Forest Mittens (Ravelry link).

Hooray! I’d heard about the initial Best in Show book of knitted dog patterns; as a cat person, I’m very happy to see a cat sequel!
I would definitely wear the outfit on the left. The sweater would be dead easy to knit, too.
I’m usually not a fan of thematic sweaters. But this one? I LOVE this one.

If I had the patience to learn how to do that, it would be amazing.

I am a sucker for any knitted thing that references the TARDIS. (Bonus points for the nod to the Tenth Doctor’s favorite footwear.)
